Analysis of Multiple Annular Pressure in Gas Storage Well and High-Pressure Gas Well

نویسندگان

چکیده

In gas storage or high-pressure wells, annular pressure is an unavoidable threat to safe, long-term resource production. The more complex situation, however, multiple pressure, which means happens in not only one annulus but two more. Such a situation brings serious challenges the identification of well integrity. However, few researches analyze phenomenon pressure. Therefore, this paper studies mechanism multi-annular provide foundation for its prevention and diagnosis. Firstly, classified according field data. Then failure function wellbore safety barriers process passage formation are analyzed. Finally, some suggestions put forward identifying controlling results show that wells have conditions generate channels, leads expansion from single annuli. channel composed tubing string, casing cement mantle, failures among three causal hierarchical relationships. According direction, it can be divided into types: tubing-casing annulus, former harmful. Some measures considered prevent channeling, including improvement cementing quality, revision maximum allowable suitable frequency relief.

High-pressure gas hydrates.

It has long been known that crystalline hydrates are formed by many simple gases that do not interact strongly with water, and in most cases the gas molecules or atoms occupy 'cages' formed by a framework of water molecules. The majority of these gas hydrates adopt one of two cubic cage structures and are called clathrate hydrates. Notable exceptions are hydrogen and helium which form 'exotic' ...

Considerations of Well Cementing Materials in High-Pressure, High-Temperature Conditions (RESEARCH NOTE)

As worldwide demand of hydrocarbon is growing fast, the oil and gas companies have been forced to explore reservoirs with more hostile conditions, such as high-pressure, high-temperature conditions. Improved technology, material selection and testing procedures are required to overcome the common problems in these conditions. One of the main phases of well construction is cementing job. Appropr...

Flow mechanisms in high pressure gas atomization

Very fine (d < 10/~m) metal and alloy powders can be produced efficiently by a high pressure gas atomization (HPGA) technique. Rapid solidification processing, metal injection molding, thermal spraying and other emerging powder-processing approaches benefit from the use of such fine powders. This paper reports on the results of an investigation of gas atomization process dynamics with emphasis ...
